BSS sums up the results of 2000
Dear friends,
In summing up the results at the end of the year we should admit that 2000 was the most labour-intensive but at the same time the most successful.
We went through expansion - rather tricky period for any company. 30 people celebrated new year 2000 in a 120 sq.m. office and now there are almost 100 of us in a new 1,000 sq.m. office.
As it was the case in the previous year, the old DOS version of BS-Client v.2 enjoyed popularity. Over 50 banks number over 200 customers. Our 700th e-client went live in Promsvyazbank.
What is more, a new version of BS-Client v.3 system for on-line banking was announced. Our comprehensive system for on-line banking has no counterparts whatsoever in Russia. BS-Client v.3 alone covers the whole range of banking services to be rendered remotely. Over second half of 2000, BS-Client v.3, consisting of subsystems:
was implemented in over 40 banks of various scale.
In particular, "Internet-Client" for individuals and businesses was installed in the following banks:
The system is being installed and prepared for production run in over 15 other banks.
In accordance with expert evaluation, 2001 expects significant increase in banks' interest in "thin" client. For our part, we are planning to significantly enlarge our customer base as well as their "thin" Internet client customer base.
With rival Internet banking solutions commercially available, our "thin" client's holding interest of banks is ensured through its specific features and targets.
2000 saw, among other things, our 300th customer enter our customer base. The diagram below reflects the general dynamics of the customer base growth.
Today, our special thanks go to everybody who took faith in us, who shared the heavy burden of beta testing and implementation of the new version. You have chosen us and, no matter how difficult at the beginning, we will be beside you at any time. We are positive about your choice. Everything we managed to achieve this year, sometimes with heroic effort, was done together with you and with your patience, understanding, and faith in us.
