Android-Client

"Android-Client" is a subsystem of the complex solution "RBS BS-Client. Retail Client" that provides a remote access to information and payment services of bank by means of devices on the Android platform.

Functionality

The Android OS operating system development as well as the devices supporting the given platform ensures the possibility of remote access providing to banks’ services delivered to an increasingly wider range of customers.

The information service in the subsystem allows the customers to receive:

• the information about a bank’s branches and cash dispenses with the possibility of searching by distance according to the user’s location and also by the criteria defined by the customer;
• bank’s news.

Payment service gives an access to:

• customers’ accounts and bank cards with the possibility of viewing of the information about movements under accounts and cards, the rests and limits on cards, allows to change the limits, block, prolong and open new cards;
• customers’ deposits and credits;
• realization of transfers between cards and accounts, transfers to other customers;
• service payments (fees);
• conversion operations.

Operation in the system

Free installation of the appendix from the Android Market is necessary for operating in the system. The access to a bank’s service is carried out by the protected communication channels by means of GRPS, EDGE, 3G, WiFi protocols. The authentication in the system is realized by means of a login/password. Session keys, SMS-authorization, the integrated support of "MobiPass" as well as eToken One-Time Password devices are used for the transactions authorization.
