Internet-Client is the main subsystem of the complex solution of "RBS BS-Client. Retail Client" to ensure the full range of protected remote operations for bank customers through the Internet. Internet-Client can run with other "RBS BS-Client. Retail Client" subsystems to offer a common e-servicing area with all available "RBS BS-Client. Retail Client" services.
Features
Internet-Client provides the full range of banking products available in "RBS BS-Client. Retail Client". Session keys (including those generated by MobiPass) as well as digital signatures (generated by cryptographic protection facilities, certified by RF FSB) can be used as an equivalent of a handwritten signature.
Working in the system
When working in the Internet-Client subsystem, customers manage their accounts and perform banking operations through the bank's web site, accessed through the Internet. A bank customer can access the bank's web server through the standard HTTP protocol from home, workplace, or anywhere else through a web browser (Internet Explorer). After a successful authorization, a user opens a protected Internet-Client session information is exchanged in HTML and XML formats.
All documents (the database of payment orders, statements, register of correspondents (beneficiaries), register of Russian banks, etc.) and other resources that customers need when working with the bank are stored on the bank side. This offers workstation independence to users and enables account management from anywhere from a computer connected to the Internet. Customers can generate, edit, and send for processing payment documents (denominated in rubles or foreign currencies), view archival documents, view and print out messages from the bank and bank statements over any period, use master data physically stored on the side of the credit institution, etc. All operations between the bank and institution are performed on-line. The capabilities of the subsystem are such as to enable tracing of all stages of payment documents processing on the bank's server.
On-line information exchange allowed Internet-Client to implement control of accuracy of entered data, which ensures that only correctly populated customer documents come to the bank. The option of on-line control facilitates and speeds up processing of received documents at the credit institution and offers usability of generating them for customers.
