Telephone-Client

"Telephone-Client" is the subsystem of the complex solution of "RBS BS-Client. Retail Client" to ensure information and payment retail services for bank customers through a telephone with tone dialing. "Telephone-Client" can run with other "BS-Client. Retail Client" subsystems to offer a common e-servicing area with all available "RBS BS-Client. Retail Client" services.

Features

Telephone-Client within "RBS BS-Client. Retail Client" ensures the following services provided to customers:

  • Provide reference information about the bank, its branches, and services (addresses and telephones, work hours, exchange rates, deposit rates, etc.) in voice or facsimile;
  • Provide customers with personal information on balances of accounts and cards, statements of accounts and cards, in voice and facsimile;
  • Enter and process various types of payment documents (payment for public services, cellular telephone, TV, etc.);
  • Provide additional informational services (including those on chargeable basis with commission charges);
  • Perform functions of a secretary (switch, notify customers, receive facsimile information, etc.).

Telephone-Client will provide your bank with the feature of on-line operability monitoring broken down by channels, the feature of logs maintenance for the system and channels, and the capability to generate statistics:

  • Broken down by customers (services used, session duration, time of last session, number of authorizations);
  • Broken down by services (time of last session, number of connects, users of the service);
  • Broken down by channels (the number of authorized and non-authorized connects, time of last session, users of the channel, channel occupation).

Working in the system

To perform operations provided by Telephone-Client, customers do not need any special skills – it is enough to dial a special telephone number, provided by the credit institution, switch to tone dialing, go through the authorization process on the bank server, and follow voice tips of the electronic operator.

The system offers detailed tips and controls all received parameters in stages. Before confirming an operation, the system plays back entered data.

To confirm payment operations, one-time session keys (including those generated with MobiPass) are used as an equivalent of the customer's handwritten signature).

Additional information

Telephone-Client can be tailored to work with all most widespread types of computer telephony equipment. The subsystem is based on Phone Hardware Engine - a unique interface for telephone equipment by different vendors. The telephone cards of Dialogic, Pika, and Olkha are supported.

Flexible customization capabilities will allow IT specialists of a credit institution to enlarge and modify the section of user notifications (e.g., introduce an additional option of 'How to find us' or 'News of the day'), add new universal payment instructions (e.g., for services of an alternative operator of satellite communication or paging, etc.), edit tipical attributes of services (e.g., figures of counters, months of payment), etc.
