"RBS BS-Client. Retail Client" v. 2.4


"RBS BS-Client. Retail Client" — a full-featured replicated solution ensuring convenient and secure remote banking for private customers through various communication channels and devices — PC and laptops, mobile and cellular telephones, PDA, iPhone, self-service kiosks and etc.

In the new version of BSS Company’s solution "RBS BS-Client. Retail Client" v. 2.4 for remote banking servicing of private customers the functionality has been significantly expanded, some subsystems have been updated as well as a number of possibilities aiming at raising convenience and an overall performance capability of the system as a whole have been included in the system.

In the new version 2.4 of the "RBS BS-Client. Retail Client" system:

  • The integration with the International Money Transfer System "Leader" has been provided.

    The integration of the "RBS BS-Client. Retail Client" and the International Money Transfer System "Leader" systems allows banks to provide private customers the remote possibility of:
    • sending a remittance from the client’s account to any of servicing centres of money transfer system;
    • receiving a remittance sent from a servicing centre of money transfer system directly to the client’s banking account.
  • On the bank side the possibility of remittances carrying out on behalf of the client from the account set up earlier and without account setting up (in the subsystem "Front-Office Light") with the use of the following money transfer systems has been provided:
    • CONTACT;
    • Western Union;
    • the International Money Transfer System "Leader".
  • The possibility of using the mechanism of templates at money transfer sending with the help of money transfer systems has been provided.
  • The possibility of using the alternative variant of the user interface on the client part of system has been provided.
  • The possibility of receiving the information on the client’s debts to service providers and information on advance payments with possibility of their subsequent payment has been provided.

    That relieves the client of the necessity of visiting banks for repayment of debts (i. e. accounts drew up by the service provider) and advance payments.
  • The integration with the "Single Point of Contact" service has been translated for work through the new data exchange report and added by services regarding the client’s debts and advance payments information reception/transfer.

    The "Single Point of Contact" service provides in an outsourcing mode the connection of a bank to goods and services suppliers, payment systems, various aggregators and consolidators of payments reception (QIWI, CyberPlat, WebMoney, Robox, Assist etc.), and also provides the possibility of the reception of goods and services payment using direct contracts of a bank.
  • Integration with the virtual POS-terminal of the "Contact-Design" company which has the possibility of simultaneous operation with several processing systems has been provided.
  • Functionality of the interaction gateway of the system with ABS "ART BANK" has been expanded.
  • The list of the operations which can be maintained with a bank card has been expanded.
  • Ergonomic characteristics of the system have been raised due to:
    • possibility of formation clients’ own lists of the most frequently used payments to which the client has quick access;
    • possibility of providing the client information on account/card/contribution (deposit) payment requisites for the purpose of its transfer to the potential payer and formation by the payer of the correct payment document.
  • The analytics block has been partially expanded:
    • formation of the summary schedule (report) of all payments and transfers of the client with a set periodicity;
    • providing the client of an extract taking into account the information about his/her own money resources, accessible rests and blocked money resources.
  • Compatibility of the "RBS BS-Client. Retail Client" system components to the popular operational systems and applications has been provided:
    • Windows Vista;
    • Microsoft Office 2007;
    • Internet Explorer 9.0;
    • Mozilla Firefox 4;
    • Opera.
  • Support of the majority token devices with Message Pro 3.x cryptography, for instance, eToken GOST, Rutoken EDS and Rutoken (BSS), has been provided.
  • Information service for the "iPhone-Client" subsystem has been realized allows bank’s clients to look through news and exchange rates, carry out search and receive information about branches and bank cash dispenses without an additional authorization.
  • The new version of the "Cellular Client" subsystem has been developed in which:
    • the new design of the mobile JAVA-appendix has been realized;
    • support of devices with touch screens has been provided;
    • the list of supported phones has been expanded to 1500 devices.
  • "Android-Client" subsystem providing remote access to bank’s informational and payment services with the help of devices with operational system Android has been provided.
  • Compulsion of custom authority code filling (field 107) in the commission on roubles transfer has been provided at transferring of customs payment/other payment from foreign economic activity (conformity to the requirements of the Order of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation from 30.12.2010 ¹ 197í).
  • Possibility of inserting the address in the payer’s name in the commission on roubles transfer has been provided at realization of transfers with a foreign bank participation (conformity to the requirements 115-FO from 07.08.2001 "About legalization counteraction (washing up) the incomes received by illegal means and to terrorism financing" in edition 176-FO from 23.07.2010).
  • In connection with the change by payment systems "e-port" and "CyberPlat" of financial and technological conditions of payments reception for the credit organizations to providers of "MTS" and "Beeline" interaction with payment systems through the new versions of data exchange reports has been provided.
  • Quality of the "RBS BS-Client. Retail Client" system administration process has been raised due to:
    • installer updating;
    • inclusion of the "ODBCMon" utility in the distribution kit for the purpose of providing more convenient installation of the system on the bank part;
    • visualization of the "Mobile Client" and the "Cellular Client" subsystems’ options.
  • Recommendations for banks directed to the attraction of bank’s average customers (participants of the salary project) to an active use of the system have been developed.
  • Standard documents templates (contracts and regulations) intended to bank’s clients connection to the system have been developed.
  • The documentation on gateways to the core banking systems has been developed.

Upgrading the system is carried out from the "RBS BS-Client. Retail Client" v. 2.3.x version and is free of charge under terms of the maintenance contract.
